Muddy Mountain Maze

Some of the best singletrack in the Casper area can be found 18 miles south of town on Muddy Mountain. If you have not ridden Muddy yet, this is your chance! If you have mountain biked these trails, then you know how sweet they are. The trails seem to wind on forever through the lodgepoles.

Join us Monday the 8th for the Muddy Mountain Maze. To get to the Muddy Mountain trails from Casper, take Casper Mountain Road south past Beartrap Meadow. The road heads down Casper Mountain then up Muddy Mountain and turns into Muddy Mountain Road. Go up the mountain and you will pass Muddy Mountain Environmental Education Center on the right, then Rim Campground on the left. Look for a green gate and BLM “Natural Area” and trail signs. This is the trailhead and the ride start/finish. If you pass the trailhead, parking can be found around the corner at a picnic area. The drive takes 30-40 minutes from Casper, so give yourself plenty of time.

To give everyone the chance to make it on time, we will start this ride at 6:45pm. The start will be a normal style start.  Category A riders will do two laps. One lap for category B. Like every ride, there will be tons of great prizes, cold drinks, and hot food. So, why wouldn’t you go?

p.s. We will be collecting canned food and cash for Joshua's Storehouse again at this ride. A dollar donated to Joshua's buys much more than a dollar's worth of food for those in need.
